Games Chamber
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
Welcome to Games Chamber (https://games-chamber.net/, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this site family-friendly and to collect as little personal information as possible.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information. If you create a free member account, we store the username you choose. Providing an email address is optional; if you do not enter one, we will not have a way to email you.
- Profile information. Your chosen on-site avatar (we use simple cartoon-style avatars; we do not ask for or accept photo uploads of you).
- Messages you send us. If you contact us by email or via the bug-report links on game pages, we keep your message so we can reply and improve the site.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit pages on this site we may automatically collect:
- Your IP address (used to derive an approximate country and for security/abuse prevention).
- Browser type and device type (for example, desktop vs. mobile).
- Pages you view, the date and time, and the referring page.
- How many times each game has been played (an aggregate counter, not tied to your account).
This data is stored in our own analytics table and is used to understand which games are popular and to keep the site healthy.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies set by WordPress so that signed-in members stay logged in and so that forms work correctly.
- Advertising cookies set by Google (see Section 3) when ads are shown on the site.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may break login.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the site, including signing you in, saving game progress where supported, and serving game pages.
- To understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve our content and performance.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Advertising and Google AdSense
We may display advertisements on this site through Google AdSense and other Google advertising products. As part of this:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
For more information about how Google uses data when you use partner sites or apps, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Third-party games and content
Many games on Games Chamber are embedded from third-party game distributors and game studios. When you play one of those games, the game and its provider may load resources directly from the provider’s servers and may set their own cookies or collect data subject to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
5. Children’s privacy
This site is intended to be family-friendly and we welcome younger players. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in their country) than is necessary to use the site. To support this, email is optional when creating a free member account, and we do not require real names. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information you would like removed, please contact us using the details in Section 9 and we will delete it.
6. Your choices and rights
- Account. You can edit your profile or stop using your account at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details in Section 9.
- Cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
- Personalized ads. See the opt-out links in Section 3.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. We will honor valid requests to the extent required by law.
7. Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Aggregated traffic and play-count data may be kept indefinitely because it is no longer tied to an identifiable person.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise your rights, or want us to delete your account, please email admin@games-chamber.net or use our Contact page.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page or via in-site notice.
