Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Games Chamber (the “Site”) at https://games-chamber.net/. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

The Site is intended for general audiences, including families. Children should use the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By creating a member account you confirm that you are old enough to do so under the laws of your country, or that a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf.

2. Free member accounts

  • Member accounts are free.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account.
  • Please choose a username that is not offensive, impersonating, or misleading. We may rename or remove accounts that violate this rule.
  • Providing an email address is optional. If you do not provide one, we may not be able to help you recover your account.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for anything illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our servers, or the games we host;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or interfere with its normal operation (for example, by scraping at high volume, denial-of-service attacks, or automated abuse);
  • Upload or transmit malware, exploits, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • Reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit games or other content on the Site without permission from the rights holder.

4. Games and third-party content

Many games on the Site are provided by third-party game studios and distributors. Those games are the property of their respective owners and are made available to you under the terms set by those owners. Games Chamber acts as a host or aggregator and does not claim ownership of third-party games. We may add, remove, or change games at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual property

The Site’s original branding, page layouts, custom artwork, and original games created by Games Chamber (including those released in the “Sanctum” area) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them only as part of normal personal use of the Site.

6. Advertising

The Site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. By using the Site you acknowledge that ads may be shown to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and your choices.

7. User-generated content

If you post comments, reviews, bug reports, or other content on the Site, you retain ownership of that content but grant Games Chamber a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and reasonably modify (for example, for formatting) that content as part of operating the Site. We may remove user content that violates these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and the games on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific game will remain available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Games Chamber and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) any amount you have paid us in the prior twelve months, or (b) USD 50.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your member account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we need to do so to protect the Site or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
